Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and Cheat Code X ("we", "us") for the Cheat Code X app, our website, Kai, and the community. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. Who can join
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- One person, one account. Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can't join if we have removed you before, or if the law where you live doesn't allow you to use a service like this.
2. Membership and billing
- Where you pay. Membership is bought on our website, through Stripe. The app is where you log in.
- Price. $99 a month in US dollars, plus any tax that applies.
- Free trial. A first membership starts with a 7-day free trial. You add a card at the start, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before it ends, you pay nothing. The trial is one per person.
- Automatic renewal. When the trial ends your card is charged $99, and again every month on the same date, until you cancel. You authorise those recurring charges when you start the trial.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time from Manage membership on our website, or email support@cheatcode.com and we'll cancel it for you. You keep access until the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. Deleting your account in the app cancels your membership straight away.
- Refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including for part of a month, except where the law requires otherwise. If you think you were charged by mistake, email us and we'll look at it.
- Failed payments. If a charge fails, Stripe will retry it. Until it goes through, the app is locked. If it can't be collected, the membership ends.
- Price changes. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
3. Not financial advice
Cheat Code X is for education and community. It is not investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and Cheat Code X is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer.
- Alerts, grades, levels, ideas, calls, posts, live sessions and Kai's answers are general information. None of it is a recommendation that you, personally, buy or sell anything.
- Trading stocks and options is risky. You can lose some or all of the money you put in, and with some strategies more than that. Only trade money you can afford to lose.
- Past results don't guarantee future results. That includes the tracked results of alerts, Kai's scorecard, members' win rates, call results and Trader of the Day.
- Market data in the app may be delayed or wrong. Check prices with your broker before you trade.
- Members are not vetted as professionals. Do your own research and make your own decisions; you alone are responsible for your trades.
- Cheat Code X, its staff and members may hold positions in securities discussed in the app.
4. Kai, the AI assistant
Kai is software, not a person and not an adviser. Kai's answers and letter grades come from automated models and can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong. Kai doesn't know your full finances or goals. Don't rely on Kai for any decision you wouldn't make on your own research. Kai's grades describe how a setup scores on our model, not how likely it is to make money.
Kai's answers are written by outside AI services. The app asks your permission before sending anything of yours to them; see the Privacy Policy. If you say no, Kai stays off and the rest of the app works.
5. Community rules: zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
The community only works if people can post without being attacked. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree not to post, send or do any of the following:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or attacks on a person or group, including for race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
- Hate speech, sexual content, graphic violence, or content that encourages self-harm.
- Pump-and-dump schemes, coordinated manipulation of a stock, or knowingly false claims about a company or a trade.
- Fake results, doctored screenshots, or claiming trades you didn't take.
- Spam, unsolicited promotion, selling your own signals or services, or links to scams.
- Other people's private information, or content you don't have the right to share.
- Impersonating someone else, including Kai or our staff.
- Anything illegal, or trying to break, scrape, or get around the security of the service.
You must agree to these rules in the app before you can post.
6. Reports, blocks and moderation
- Report. Every post and every member can be reported from the ••• menu on the post or the profile. Reports go to our moderators, who review them and act within 24 hours, including removing the content and removing the member who posted it.
- Block. You can block any member from a post or their profile. Their posts, replies and calls are hidden from you everywhere in the app and they can no longer reach you through mentions or notifications. They aren't told. You can unblock them in your Account, under Blocked members.
- Automatic checks. Every post, comment, chat and room message, and every username and display name is checked automatically, by a word filter and by an outside AI service (see the Privacy Policy), before other members can see it. Anything flagged stays hidden from others, and you see it as waiting, until it passes or a moderator reviews it.
- Our action. We may remove any content and warn, mute, suspend or permanently remove any member who breaks these terms, at our discretion and without notice. Someone removed for abuse doesn't get a refund.
- Contact. To follow up on a report or anything else, email support@cheatcode.com.
- You can stop using the service any time: cancel billing, and delete your account in the app under Delete account.
- We may change, pause or end parts of the service. If we end the service entirely, we will stop billing and refund any month you paid for and couldn't use.
7. Your content
You own what you post. By posting it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show, copy and adapt it to run and improve the service, including showing it to other members. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already shared or replied to it, or we must keep it by law. You are responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.
8. Our property
The app, our website, Kai, the grades, the design, and the Cheat Code names and logos belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own membership. You may not copy, resell, redistribute (including reposting alerts outside the app), reverse-engineer, or build a competing product from them.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that any alert, call or answer will be profitable.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Cheat Code X is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages from your use of the service, including decisions you make based on alerts, posts, calls, live sessions or Kai's answers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is brought against us because of content you posted or your breach of these terms.
11. Disputes
Before bringing a claim, email us at support@cheatcode.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Cheat Code X is organised.
12. Everything else
- App stores. If you got the app from Apple's App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, who are not responsible for the app or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
- Privacy. How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy.
- Changes. We may update these terms. For a significant change we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and the app may ask you to agree again. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
- Whole agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us. If one part can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it.
- Contact. support@cheatcode.com.
13. Invite and earn
Members can invite people with a personal link and earn a commission when the people they invite pay for a membership. Taking part is optional. By sharing your link you agree to this section. Payouts open when we switch them on; until then the app says so.
- Who can earn. Members with an active membership who live in the United States and finish payout setup with our payment provider, Stripe.
- What counts as a referral. Someone who creates a new account through your link within 30 days of their last click on it. If they click more than one member's link, the last link they clicked counts. A member can only ever be referred once.
- Commission. A percentage of each membership payment your referral makes, after tax, for as long as both of you stay members. The trial is free, so nothing is earned on it. The percentage depends on your belt when each payment is made: White 10%, Blue 15%, Purple 20%, Brown 25%, Black 30%. We may change the rates with 30 days' notice.
- Holding period and payouts. Each commission is held for 30 days in case the payment is refunded or disputed. We pay once a month by Stripe transfer when your available balance is at least $25. A smaller balance carries over.
- Refunds and chargebacks. If a payment you earned on is refunded or disputed, the commission on it is cancelled, and if it was already paid it comes off your next payouts.
- If you cancel. If your own membership ends, you lose your referrals and any earnings not yet paid out. Earnings already paid to you stay yours.
- No self-referrals or fake accounts. We check for this automatically, may hold payouts while we review an account, and may cancel earnings and remove you from the program for fraud or for breaking these rules.
- You must say you earn a commission whenever you share your link, for example "I earn a commission if you join." The app adds this line to anything you share from it; don't remove it.
- No income or performance claims. You may not claim or suggest that anyone will make money by joining, trading, following alerts or taking part in this program, or share results, win rates or Kai's grades as a reason to join.
- Where and how you promote. No spam, no unsolicited messages, no paid ads that bid on our name, and no pretending to be Cheat Code X or our staff.
- Taxes. You are an independent participant, not our employee or agent, and you are responsible for taxes on what you earn.
- Changes and ending the program. We may change or end the program with 30 days' notice. If we end it, we pay out available balances of at least $25 that were earned under these rules.
14. War Room live sessions
A War Room is the live room for one stock. Kai hosts scheduled sessions. When we turn it on, some members can also open a timed session and talk on the floor by voice, and turn their camera on. Before you open a session or join the floor you must agree to these rules in the app:
- Post the card before you talk the trade. If you are in a trade or about to call one, post it as a card first, with its entry, stop and target.
- No "buy now" calls. Talk about levels and what would prove you wrong. Never tell the room to get in or get out right now.
- Don't sell into the room. Don't sell a position you just pitched within 30 minutes of pitching it. If you trim or exit, say so in the room.
- No personal advice. Never tell someone what to do with their own money, savings or account.
- Liquid names only. Sessions are for established, heavily traded stocks and funds.
- No tips, gifts or outside links. Nothing is for sale in a War Room.
- Sessions are recorded and transcribed so moderators can review them. Everyone sees this notice before they join a session's audio. A moderator can end any session.
- Education, not advice. Nothing said in a War Room is financial advice. Kai is an AI. Do your own work before you trade.
You can report a session or a speaker from the session menu, and block any member. Breaking these rules can cost you floor rights or your membership under section 6.
